Ice Facts is a Discord bot that sends a random fact about ice to a designated Discord channel. There can only be one channel set. Facts will be delivered to that channel at 7:00am Eastern Time every day.
NOTE: There is currently no default channel set for delivery of the facts – you are required to set one.
Examples
Some example commands for managing and using the delivery of the facts are below:
!fact info
Returns basic information about Ice Facts itself – version number, frameworks used, etc.
!fact
This command allows a random fact to be manually sent to the channel the command was issued from.
!fact channel set #{channel}
This command sets the channel Ice Facts will deliver messages to. Only one channel per server is allowed. Command cannot be issued from Direct Messages.
!fact channel delete
This command deletes the channel Ice Facts will deliver messages go. If this is done, messages cannot be delivered to the server. Command cannot be issued from Direct Messages.
!fact channel
This command retrieves the channel Ice Facts will deliver messages to. Command cannot be issued from Direct Messages.
